At the Burnaby Winter Club, our coaching team is made up of experienced, highly trained professionals dedicated to long-term athlete development. Every coach meets the certification standards set by BC Hockey and the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), ensuring they are equipped with the technical knowledge, safety training, and leadership skills needed to support players at every stage.

Guided by our hockey directors, coaches take part in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in skill development, team culture, and athlete wellness. Many bring backgrounds in elite playing environments, advanced coaching pathways, or specialized skills instruction, creating a consistent and development-focused experience for our athletes.

This structure allows BWC to provide a supportive, knowledgeable, and well-organized coaching environment where players can grow as athletes, teammates, and individuals.
