The Burnaby Winter Club Men’s League returns this October for its second season, bringing Members and alumni together for another year of Wednesday night hockey, great competition and a strong social atmosphere.
Following a successful inaugural season, the league is back for 2026–27 as BWC celebrates its 70th Anniversary. This year will also include exclusive 70th Anniversary gear and an expanded post-game experience at Sandes Lounge.
League Format
- Four balanced teams
- 4-on-4 hockey on both BWC small rinks
- 20-game season
- Scorekeepers provided
- Player-officiated games
- Competitive, fast-paced and fun hockey every Wednesday night
Season Details
- October 7 – March 3
- No games on December 23 or December 30
- 20-week season
Registration Includes More Than Just Hockey
Every registered player will receive a custom BWC Men’s League 70th Anniversary jersey, exclusive to this season, along with league swag to commemorate another year of BWC Men’s League hockey.
These items are included with registration and are only available to league participants.
The Night Doesn’t End With the Final Whistle
The post-game social experience was one of the highlights of the league’s inaugural season, and we’re building on it this year.
After every game, registered players can head upstairs to Sandes Lounge for:
- A complimentary beer
- A rotating post-game meal
Whether your team wins or loses, the evening continues upstairs with food, drinks and a chance to catch up with fellow Members and alumni.
The BWC Men’s League isn’t just about getting another game in each week — it’s a chance to stay connected with the Club and enjoy a regular Wednesday night with the BWC hockey community.
Registration Fees
- Player: $745
- Goalie: $400
Spots Are Limited
Registration will close once the league reaches 40 skaters and 4 goalies.
