BWC Academy defenceman signs WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement after being selected in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft

Congratulations to BWC Academy defenceman Logan Chang on signing a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Prince Albert Raiders.

The Burnaby product was selected by the Raiders in the fifth round of the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft after a strong season with the Burnaby Winter Club U15 Prep team.

Chang recorded nine goals and 28 assists for 37 points in 27 games last season and also appeared in a pre-season rookie game with Prince Albert against the Saskatoon Blades.

Raiders General Manager Curtis Hunt praised Chang’s poise and offensive potential, describing him as a player the organization believes can develop into a dynamic power-play defenceman.

“We really liked Logan as a Burnaby Winter Club defenceman and we felt lucky enough he fell into our lap when we got him the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft,” said Raiders General Manager Curtis Hunt. “We believe he will become a dynamic power-play defenceman in our league. He shows great poise in his youth and we’re thrilled to have him join our family.”
