BWC Academy defenceman signs WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement after being selected in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft

Congratulations to Michael Puddicombe on signing a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Moose Jaw Warriors.

The North Vancouver defenceman was selected 75th overall by Moose Jaw in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft following a strong season with the Burnaby Winter Club Academy U15 Prep team.

“We are continuing to build around a strong group with our 2010s and 2011s,” said Warriors General Manager Jason Ripplinger.

Puddicombe recorded five goals and 31 points in 30 games last season while continuing his development on the blue line. The 2011-born, 6-foot-3 defenceman now takes another important step in his hockey career with the Warriors organization.
