New Advertising and Partnership Opportunities Available at Burnaby Winter Club
The renovation of the Burnaby Winter Club’s NHL rink is creating new opportunities for businesses to connect with the BWC community.
The renovation of the Burnaby Winter Club’s NHL rink is creating new opportunities for businesses to connect with the BWC community.
As the Club prepares for the upcoming season in the newly renovated facility, BWC is introducing several new advertising and partnership opportunities, including digital advertising on two new LED scoreboards, rink board advertising and a premier naming partnership for the NHL rink.
“We’re really excited about what the renovated NHL rink is going to bring to our Members, our players and everyone who visits Burnaby Winter Club,” said BWC General Manager Rob Windsor. “It also gives us an opportunity to create some new partnerships with businesses that want to support the Club and be visible within our community.”
New Digital Scoreboard Advertising
Two new LED scoreboards will be installed in the NHL rink before the season begins, creating a new digital advertising platform for businesses.
Advertisements will rotate across both screens during BWC Minor Hockey and Academy games, Burnaby Steelers Junior A games, practices, training sessions and other activities taking place in the rink.
With the NHL rink in use throughout the season, the new screens will provide businesses with regular exposure to BWC Members as well as the many players, families and visitors who come through the facility.
Rink Board Advertising
Traditional rink board advertising will also be available on the NHL rink’s newly installed board system.
Unlike rotating digital advertising, rink board placements provide continuous visibility whenever the rink is in use, offering businesses another way to establish a lasting presence within the facility.
NHL Rink Naming Partnership
BWC is also seeking a premier partner for a naming opportunity associated with the renovated NHL rink.
The partnership represents a unique opportunity for an organization to align its name with one of the Club’s most important facilities and with a hockey community that includes Minor Hockey, the BWC Academy, Junior A hockey, camps, training programs and visiting teams.
“This is much more than simply putting a name on a rink,” Windsor said. “We’re looking for a partner that sees value in being part of the BWC community and wants to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with the Club.”
A variety of advertising and partnership opportunities are now available.
Businesses interested in learning more about available placements, pricing or the NHL rink naming partnership are encouraged to contact Rob Windsor, General Manager of the Burnaby Winter Club.
